Rustic Cabin for Rent Uniquely decorated from the 1880 lumbering era from the surrounding area.

Louie's Hideaway is approximately 800 sq ft. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath and blow dryer. 1st bedroom is blue and decorated to represent our great lakes. It has a Queen bed, shelving in the closet to hold Towels and extra linens. The 2nd bedroom we call the Sand room. It is decorated in light browns, blue's and greens. It has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and single on top. The closet holds extra blankets and pillows and a cot under the bed. There is also an old chest in the room filled with board games, coloring books, etc. for those day's you have to stay inside. The kitchen is fully equiped to make any type of meal you may have in mind. There is a crockpot and waffle maker as well. There is a 27 inch flat screen TV with just local channels, and a DVD player for movie rentals. We appologize for not having satelite, but we do have WiFi. There is a wood stove that our guest's may use to cozy up on the couch for those chilly Northern MI nights, and we provide the first 6 duraflame logs. Although it burns real wood, we suggest to only use duraflame log's to keep the soot and spark damage down so that it doesn't damage the floors and furniture. A complimentary bag of ice awaits you in the freezer. We have a bonfire pit in the back and a grill/smoker for your use. Picnic table. We have front and back covered porches with chairs, and an electric bug zapper. We ask that if your a smoker, to please smoke outdoors. We have provided ashtrays on the front and back porches. Pets are welcome with an additional $75.00 cleaning fee. There is canoeing/ kayaking close by. There is the Swiss Hideaway located on the jordan river, which is a short 15 minute drive down M-66 south of East Jordan. Also the Manistee River which is also a short drive. You can rent or bring your own Canoe's, Kayak's, or tubes. Winter offers rafting trips down the Jordan River, by the Jordan Valley Outfitters. Horse drawn sleigh rides can be found in the area as well. Lakes of the North has a 18 hole championship Golf course with resturaunt/lounge, an airport, Riding stables, small boat, canoe rental. 2 lakes for fishing with beaches, winter sports area, ice skating, cross country skiing, shooting range. Our clubhouse has a work out facility, game room, locker rooms, pool with hot tub, waterslide, and small lazy river. Our guests may use with a guest pass of $20 a day up to a group of 10 people and $5.00 for every individual after. This fee is to be paid at the clubhouse. This is clubhouse rules to charge not ours. Rates are subject to change. Hundreds of acres of common property for hunting. There are abundant Deer, Turkey, Coyote, and an occasional Black Bear. Lakes of the North has the prime Snowmobile trailheads that lead all over Northern MI. Fall is a very beautiful time in Northern MI fisherman are Salmon fishing and people are taking color tours all over the area. Halloween is in the air, and there are many haunted attractions in nearby area's as well as the real deals. And if your a paranormal or folklore type person, BigFoot has been spotted in many surounding area's, and ivestigated by the Finding Bigfoot team from Animal Planet. We also have a Massage Therapist Professional on sight for that much needed stress and pain relief that you may need. Licensed through the State of MI, Insured, and Certified Oncology Therapist through the Rose Cancer Center, William Beaumont (Royal Oak, MI).
